    On Tuesday we expect high avalanche danger for region Nord-Troms. Avalanche problem is wet snow (slab avalanches), wind drifted snow (slab avalanches) and persistent weak layer (slab avalanches).

    From Tuesday morning to Wednesday morning expected above zero temperatures and a lot of rain in Nordland and Troms. It is expected 30-60mm precipitation in 24 hours, on Helgeland locally 60-90mm.

    InstructionsConsider the need for preventive measures. The need for emergency preparedness shall be assessed continuously by emergency response actors. Check road reports (175.no). Adjust the speed and use caution while driving.

    ConsequencesRisk of flooding of low-lying areas in densely populated areas. Check varsom.no for more information. Locally difficult driving conditions, especially at waterways. Roads may be closed. Road conditions affected with road spray and hydroplaning in some places.
