    InstructionsTravelling in avalanche terrain is not recommended. Avalanches may hit avalanche-exposed roads and settlements.

  2. Applies to deler av Trøndelag og deler av Nordland

    Landslides may be expected. Exposed railways and roads may be closed. Risk of slushflows is especially high in areas with more than 50 cm snow. The snow may in some places be fully water-saturated. Slushflows are triggered even in relatively gentle slopes, where water accumulates. Slushflows follow terrain depressions and may develop into debris flows. Heavy snowmelt is expected. Heavy rain is expected.

    InstructionsKeep water paths and culverts free of snow, ice, gravel, waste, twigs and leaves. Clogged waterways with dammed water may cause landslides.

    ConsequencesLandslides may be expected. Exposed railways and roads may be closed.

    From Sunday afternoon southwest gale force 8. From Sunday evening increasing southwest strong gale force 9 and occasionally storm force 10. Early Monday decreasing southwest near gale force 7.

    ConsequencesLarge waves. High risk of dangerous situations when in a small boat at sea. High waves whose crests sometimes roll over. Airborne spray may reduce visibility.

  4. Applies to Nordland og deler av Troms

    Water discharge is expected to increase because of rain and snowmelt. This may cause local inundation where river channels are filled with ice and because of frozen ground. It also may cause ice drift in streams, with subsequent local inundation. Local flooding and erosion damage. Large amounts of rain are expected in the warning area.

    InstructionsStay informed on the situation. Secure and/or move assets away from vulnerable areas (car, caravan along rivers/streams, basements). Cleaning of drainage paths and culverts is recommended. Keep away from rivers and streams with high flow.

    ConsequencesLocal flooding and/or erosional damage in streams and small rivers. Stormwater in urban areas.

  5. Applies to Helgeland, Saltfjellet, Salten, Ofoten og Troms

    From Monday afternoon to Tuesday afternoon it is expected 20-40 cm snow.

    InstructionsAllow some extra time for transportation and driving. Use tires fit for winter conditions and use caution while driving.
